Hi everyone. Please pay attention to this post as Jin Qing, for once, is going to tag about serious stuff. Ok, this is about the topic, none other than DALT. I shall recap what we have learned today. ShiTous, please pay EXTRA attention. good.
1. at the very starting moment of lion dance, when you put the lion head over your own head, remember to jerk and do it with life instead of looking like a flimsy, strengthless lion.
2. raise the lion up before the real qi3 shi1 comes. like :
dongdongdong dongdong dedong(raise)dongdong
3. do the qi3 shi1 with more distinct actions. (take note especially when you jin4 shi1)
4. xing2 li3 -- raise it up, turning action, raise it up again and put it down with jerk. This is equals to ONE set.
5. ping2 gu3 -- distinct actions!! shake more! legs must lift higher.
during the cross-over part, lift leg as high as 90 degrees ba.
we are suppose to continue doing ping2 gu3 after crossing-over.
6. "7 steps" -- hmm. This is hard to explain in words. first, legs must lift higher! And, at the 'qia4' part, you are suppose to jerk the head. (one two three four five ix qia4) when you face the front at six, bring the shi tou away from your shoulders like what you do in "middle jian3". Yes. of course, distinct actions are always required.
* very important: siewfun ma'am also said that if you start too late (cant catch the first beat/s), continue to finish the six steps properly. As in, you do not have to do the qia4 action when the gu3 gives qia4. but of course, dont be too ridiculous.
er...i think no more le. hmm. jieqi and jiawen, any other things to add on, pls do so...because I cant remember everything leh. Ok. End of recaping, now, go and practise!
